Congreso Patrimonio

Those who wish to participate as authors, presenting their work (see reduced registration) may do so by means of a PRESENTATION and, where appropriate, a PAPER (prior submission and acceptance of abstract required).

1. SUBMISSION OF FILES

A. Abstracts:

Those interested in making a presentation of their research work will have to submit an abstract of up to 500 words.

Deadline Friday, 31 March 2023.

B. Papers:

Those whose abstracts are accepted must submit their full paper (up to 3000 words), according to the template provided, taking into account the following dates:

  • 10 July: deadline for submission of full papers. If we do not receive your paper by this date, it will be understood that you do not wish to present your paper at the Congress.
  • 30 July: end of the review and sending of possible corrections by the Committee.
  • 10 September: deadline for the submission of corrected papers

The number of images shall be kept to the minimum necessary for a proper understanding of the communication.

C. Abstracts:

Those whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the congress should note the following dates:

  • 22 September: deadline for submission of Power Point presentations.

Presentations will have a maximum time limit. The place, time and maximum time for this is indicated below. Please prepare them with special attention to the time available and trying to minimize the weight of the submitted file.

2. DISSEMINATION AND PUBLICATION

Accepted full papers may be published* in the digital volume with ISBN code of "Patrimonio de la Obra Pública y de la Ingeniería Civil".

(*) Accepted papers will be published in the volume unless:

  1. The complete paper has not been received by the deadline.
  2. The author waives publication of the full paper, even if he/she has submitted it.
  3. The Committee invites this paper to undergo anonymous review in order to be eligible for inclusion in the monographic issue of the Engineering History and Heritage journal of the Institution of Civil Engineers of the UK, or any other decision of the Technical Committee.
